Enoch, known as Idris in Arabic, was an early prophet in Islam. Enoch once asked an angel to take him to the Angel of Death so he could ask for more time to do good deeds. The angel took Enoch on his wings to the fourth heaven to see the Angel of Death. The Angel of Death was shocked, as he had been told to collect Enoch’s soul from the fourth heaven but did not understand how, as Enoch was on Earth. The Angel of Death then took Enoch’s soul.
