Using common values contained in their respective teachings, women of all religious traditions can work together and collaborate in many areas especially peace building and women’s empowerment. Collectively women of all faiths can learn from each other’s struggles and histories, while showing support for women’s religious leadership roles worldwide. Please contribute to this archive by suggesting women of all faiths to be featured through our recommendation form.

About
Rose Marie Berger is an award-winning religion journalist, author, public speaker, poet, and Catholic who specializes in writing about spirituality and art, social justice, war and peace. She is heavily involved in faith based activism, advocacy journalism, pastoral leadership and social justice.
She was arrested for peaceful protests against the Iraq War and refused to stop praying outside the white house after her permit to demonstrate was revoked. This was a defining moment for her as her arrest brought alive not only the scriptures but Alice Walker’s wisdom that resistance is the “secret of joy”.
