Muslim Women Zoom Into Racism

As the world rapidly fractures due to the #Covid crisis, WISE 2.0 an online collaborative platform was spearheaded on Zoom by Daisy Khan and four Muslim women  colleagues during the Covid quarantine, which was considered an ideal moment for Muslim women to strengthen their bonds, to assist them through the maze of change, and to help them on the path of personal transformation. The online convening series titled “Muslim Women Zoom into the Quran” featuring leading female scholars, activists, and artists had built a momentum when the crisis of Racism erupted in America. WISE immediately responded by hosting “Zoom into Racism a conversation led by seven African American Muslim women including the poet Efemeral, to date, 500 women of all faiths have participated in WISE’s ongoing Zoom sessions.
