Delivering specialist training from our 2 Career Development Centres located in poor communities in Delhi, ETASHA also provides training for other organisations across India such as Don Bosco, Butterflies, CASP- Plan and the governments of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Job Description:
ETASHA Society is a fast growing Delhi based not for profit designing and delivering vocational training, employability skills and career guidance for disadvantaged young Indians. We work from our two training centres in poor socio economic areas in Delhi and also operate from partner locations across the NCR and increasingly other states.
Facilitators are required to deliver employability skills training primarily at one of our partner sites in Gurgaon. Occasional travel to other sites may be required. After a successful pilot in partnership, ETASHA is developing a long term project to design and deliver an employability skills program for trainees at a large training institute in Gurgaon. The objective is to ready trainees across different vocational training streams for employment in their respective fields and to assist them with placement. The position is full time 6 days per week, Monday—Saturday.
Duties and Responsibilities of a Facilitator:
Delivery of training according to the prescribed curricula and methodology, keeping in mind the requirements of target industries. Training will be given.
Facilitation and mentoring of trainees through their learning process
Qualifications:
Excellent understanding of the skill requirements for an entry level job in the service sector
Passion for training and facilitation
Ability to work with participative methodologies
Excellent communication skills and command over English
Ability to connect with adolescents and youth
Self-motivated learner with a passion for continuous improvement
