The Al Liqa’ Center for Religious and Heritage Studies in the Holy Land is holding the 22nd session of the conference on Arab Christian and Muslim Heritage. The three day conference titled “On the Road to Muslim and Christian Relations in the East and the West” is being held from September 23rd to the 25th, and will be located in Palestine. The topics of discussion in the lectures will include, but are not limited to, Islamic phobia, the historical and cultural reasons that have created mistrust between Arabs and the West, and the distinction between Islam moderation and the extreme. While the panel discussions consist of Jerusalem’s current political stance and the role of Western Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs). The conference is set to engage people of different faiths in a progressive discussion about the ability to improve relations between Muslims and Christians around the world.
