The Afghan Women Skills Development Center works to reinforce the role of women and children in the development process in Afghanistan. Founded in 1999, the center provides shelter to survivors of violence, coordinates educational and entrepreneurial classes, and advocates for women’s rights with the Afghan government and international bodies.
